Terms of Use
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Waaka waitlist at trywaaka.com, operated by Waaka Limited (RC No. 9426840) (“Waaka”, “we”, “us”). By joining the waitlist, you agree to them.
2. Who can join
You must be 18 or over, and the details you give us must be accurate. Waaka is launching in Lagos first. Anyone can join, but early access will be for Lagos.
3. What joining means
Joining the waitlist is free. It registers your interest in Waaka and lets us keep you updated. It isn’t a membership, a subscription or a purchase, and it doesn’t commit you to paying for anything.
4. Early access
We intend to give people on the waitlist access to Waaka before it opens to everyone. We decide the timing, format and order of that access, and it may happen in stages.
Joining doesn’t guarantee:
- a launch date
- a price
- a place in any particular group or stage
- specific experiences, venues or partners
5. What we describe may change
What the site says about Waaka, including the number of experiences each month and the categories on offer, describes what we’re building. It may change before launch. The full terms of any membership, including price, will be shown to you before you pay anything.
6. The Waakans community
The Waakans WhatsApp community is optional. In it, please:
- be respectful
- don’t spam or promote other businesses
- don’t share other members’ details
We may remove anyone who breaks these rules. WhatsApp’s own terms also apply.
7. Fair use
We may remove signups that are fake, duplicated or automated.
8. Our content
The Waaka name, logo, design and content on this site belong to Waaka. Please don’t copy or reuse them without our permission.
Our use of cookies is explained in our Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
The site is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we’re not responsible for any loss that comes from using the waitlist site. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under Nigerian consumer protection law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms or close the waitlist. If we do, we’ll post the changes here and update the date at the top.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction.
